Army Trip
On the 27th of June, Year Nines travelled all the way to Bassingbourn to see an army exhibition. There they saw different displays and they also participated in different activities such as rock climbing.
Unfortunately none of our students entered the poster competition as they were occupied by the activities surrounding them!
Even though we were expected to bring packed lunch most students bought and ate food that was provided there. The lucky teachers had free food!
Most of us enjoyed seeing the displays in the centre of the field. Members of the army even drove into fire! Parachutes dived right down into the arena, the motorbike riders also showed their different gymnastic skills whilst driving motorbikes.
Some of us learnt that the army isn't just about violence and killing. The army also includes a wide variety of careers which cover a large number of different areas.
